Ihda Husnayain

Senior Software Developer · Backend & Operational Systems

A place to think out loud.

Notes on the things I come across, learn, build, and think about along the way.

Profile

Developer with an operational mindset.

I work at the intersection of software engineering, business-process analysis and practical product design.

I am strongest when a project needs more than CRUD: understand the workflow, identify the real bottleneck, and turn it into a simple, maintainable system.

After completing my Telkomsigma role in 2024, I returned to independent product development. I now build applications for cooperative finance, pharmacy operations and gold-zakat tracking.

Core focus

  • Business Flow Analysis
  • Backend Architecture
  • Database Design
  • Operational UI/UX
  • Debugging & Maintenance
  • Deployment Support

Featured products

Operational products built around real workflows.

From cooperative finance to pharmacy operations — systems designed for daily use, not demos.

Active development

Project 02 · Pharmacy operations

Apotek Siaga

Operational system for branches 24 and 25

Turning a fragmented Excel workflow into a structured operational system.

Problem

Operational data lived across multiple workbooks. Medicine prices changed frequently, purchasing involved multiple PBF suppliers, and stock/history needed clearer traceability.

Solution

A modular web application designed around the real pharmacy workflow, starting with master data, purchases, pricing, sales, bills and cash flow.

Core modules & rules

  • Branch & PBF Data
  • Medicine Master
  • Purchases / DPB
  • Price Confirmation
  • OTC / Reg / VIP Prices
  • Medical Sales
  • Supplier Bills
  • Cash Flow
  • Batch & Expiry Planning
  • Returns & Stock Movement

My contribution

Direct business-process discovery, Excel/data analysis, medicine-pricing formulas, database modelling, incremental module planning, UI direction and Laravel implementation.

Project 03 · Personal finance & zakat

Haul

Gold savings and zakat due-date tracker

Making the nearest gold-zakat obligation easy to trace.

Problem

The main difficulty is not simply calculating zakat, but tracing which gold holding is approaching its haul and which obligation should be prioritized.

Product direction

A mobile dashboard that records each gold purchase and surfaces the nearest haul, supported by price updates and practical notifications.

Planned data & features

  • Gregorian Purchase Date
  • Hijri Month / Haul Reference
  • Manufacturer & Weight
  • Quantity & Serial Number
  • CertiEye Evidence
  • Purchase Price
  • Daily Gold Price API
  • Nearest-Haul Dashboard
  • Priority & Notifications
  • Zakat Calculation Support

Product thinking

The scope is deliberately centered on the user's real pain point: tracing time and priority. Secondary features are added only when they support that decision.

Build the reminder and prioritization workflow first — not a large financial platform that distracts from the core problem.

  • Mobile Product
  • API Integration
  • Notification Design
  • Domain Modelling

Capabilities

Practical engineering for data-heavy operations.

Understand the operation, protect the data, improve the workflow and keep the application maintainable.

Business-process analysis

Map current workflows, bottlenecks, exceptions and essential rules.

Backend & database development

Design modules, relationships, validation, calculations and reliable data flows.

Maintenance & troubleshooting

Investigate bugs, check servers/databases, support backups, deployment and SSL.

Operational UI/UX

Create fast, clear data-entry screens with searchable inputs and useful summaries.

Incremental implementation

Build the highest-value flow first, validate it and expand without over-engineering.

Technical communication

Translate operational needs into rules, schemas, implementation plans and documentation.

Technical toolkit

  • PHP
  • Laravel
  • CodeIgniter
  • MySQL
  • JavaScript
  • REST API
  • Git / GitHub
  • Postman
  • Blade

Working approach

How I ship reliable operational software.

  1. 01

    Understand

Study the operation before defining the system. Observe how users record information, make decisions and handle exceptions.

  2. 02

    Model

Separate master data, transactions and history. Document calculations and operational constraints clearly.

  3. 03

    Deliver

Build the highest-value workflow first. Test it with users, then expand without unnecessary complexity.

  4. 04

    Stabilize

Prioritize validation, maintainability, backups, debugging and traceable reporting.
